Satinderpal Singh also named "Satinder Sartaj", is a popular artist in the Pollywood industry. He is a Punjabi poet, lyricist, singer, and actor. He made his debut in 2009 with his album "Ibadat" which consists of 10 songs. Literally, he writes his first song "cheeray waleya" in 2002. He earned the desired fame with his song "Udaarian" in 2018.
Early Age
Satinder Sartaj or Satinderpal Singh took birth in a small village Bajrawar in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. His preliminary education occurred in the government school of his village. It is said that when he was in his developing age(third standard) he started appearing in the Children's Council(Local Bal Sabhas).

Educational Background
After completing the schooling from the government school Sartaj left for his higher studies. He continued his college degree in Music from Government college Hoshiarpur. He was so concentrated on his music career and completed his MPhil in Sufism or Sufi Music Singing. Then he came to Punjab University, Chandigarh to pursue his Ph.D. in Gayan (Sufi Singing). Then he started his career in teaching Sufism at Punjab University, Chandigarh. He taught Sufism for six years. Sartaj was so compassionate for Sufism that he completed the diploma in Persian language and gets himself certified in the Persian language. He started writing poetry and other art in his college also adopted his Takhallus(pen name), Sartaaj. Sartaaj also owns a five-year diploma in Classical Music. Sartaj is considered one of the most educated artists in the Pollywood industry.
Career
After making his debut it took many years to come to the priority list of the people. There were many artists and the competition at that stage was very strong. Sartaaj himself mentions that he was having no interest in performing and pursuing his career as a performer. But the major breakthrough was when he was booked for a show in Toronto, Canada in 2008. Sartaj was uploaded on the YouTube channel from where he came in contact with event organizers in Canada, and he was contacted to come to entertain the Punjabi-Canadian audience.
The song "Sai" is also considered as the major factor of his fame. In 2011, he was awarded "Best International Act", the "Best Songwriter" 2017, and "Music Video of the Year" 2018 for the song "Udaarian" at BAMA(Brit Asia TV Music Awards). Performing in Royal Albert Hall in Britain on 2 May 2014.
He made his debut in the American film industry through "The Black Prince" with a lead role in it. The movie was released on 21 July 2017 and was based on the life of Maharaja Duleep Singh who was the son of the Punjabi ruler Maharaja Ranjit Singh. After that, he worked on a Pollywood project that was a family-based movie named "Ikko-mikke".
Sartaaj gave some awesome hits to Pollywood industry such as "Nilami", "Tere Vastey", "Shagufta Dilli", "Darda'n vala Desh", "Auzaar", "Kuch Badal Geya ey", "Qaseeda", "Pakeezgi" and many more.

Right now Sartaaj is working on a Pollywood Project "Kali Jotta" with co-star Neeru Bajwa.
